1. Before the Big Giant Head was the Big Giant Head, Tommy had the opportunity to be ruler of the galaxy, but passed. It seemed like too much work and too much hassle to out run the giant fireball.
2. He really does want to know everything. Mostly for Universal bragging rights.
3. He desperately wants to be remembered and remembered fondly.
4. He is his own grandpa.
5. He is a very nice old man. Or would be if his people thought about each other the way humans do.
6. He's a hypochondriac.
7. Although he loves too cook, he doesn't like to eat very much.
8. He's totally trying to fatten up Lily, just a little bit. Gwendolyn asked him to.

Tommy Solomon has very few hang-ups about the human body that is not actually his, but may as well be since he's had it since it was thirteen. Fewer, in fact, than he should seeing as that body has not changed much since he first began to inhabit it (excepting, obviously, that it has grown taller, less hairier, and hairier).
But the Solomons have almost no concept of personal space and very little issue with public nudity. Despite the fact that only one of them looks like Sally.
